On September 26 and 27, 2025 Pompeii rediscovered its ancient spirit for two days thanks to the "Ludi Pompeiani," a historical reenactment event—organized to coincide with the European Heritage Days—that transformed the archaeological area into a vivid stage from the 1st century AD. Gladiatorial combats, legionary exercises, and parades brought to light the military, cultural, and social life of Imperial Rome.
